Sometimes we might ask you to document the issue you’re facing or supplement the question you’re asking with a screenshot. Taking a screenshot is an equivalent of taking a photo of your screen, although you do not need to use an external camera to take it. The advantage of taking a screenshot is that it shows exactly what you see on your screen, allowing us to understand your inquiry better.

Taking screenshots on a Mac

Press these keys on your keyboard at once: ⇧ Shift + ⌘ cmd + 3. Your screenshot will be placed on your Desktop.

Taking screenshots on iOS

Simultaneously press the Sleep/Wake key and the Home button. Your screenshot will be placed in your Camera roll in the Photos.app.

If your device does not feature a Home button, please see the following Apple articles to learn how to take screenshots from an iPhone and an iPad.

Taking screenshots on Apple Watch

Simultaneously press the Digital Crown and the side button. Your screenshot will be placed in your iPhone’s Camera roll in the Photos.app. Important! Make sure screenshots are enabled in Watch.app on your iPhone > General > Enable screenshots.

Taking screenshots on Android

When making a screen shot on Android please don’t forget to turn off PIN protection in MoneyWiz before taking a screen, otherwise you will get a DRM protection error.

To take a screenshot, press the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time, hold them for a second, and your phone will take a screenshot. You’ll find it in the Gallery application afterwards.

Taking screenshots on Windows

Press the Windows logo key Windows logo key and PrtScn. The screen will dim for a moment when the screen is copied and saved as a file in the Screenshots folder (which is in your Pictures folder). More information can be found on the Microsoft Support pages.
