MoneyWiz supports attaching an alias to a holding. This is useful if for example your Online Banking provider shares the holding under one name, while Yahoo! Finance lists it under another.

To begin, enter your investment account and switch to Holdings tab. Click on the holding you wish to edit and select Options > Set symbol alias. You'll be asked to provide the alias name, allowing you to -- for example -- distinguish between American BP and British BP.L.

To later remove an alias, just edit it again and change it to an empty value.
